Join SidelineSwap as a Trade-In Event Assistant and help to power the circular economy of sports!
In this role, you will have the ability to impact many aspects of SidelineSwap’s Trade-In Events, which are hosted at retail stores (Dick’s Sporting Goods, Monkey Sports, etc.) and sports facilities, where customers can trade-in their old sports gear in return for store credit. As a SidelineSwap Trade-In Assistant, you’ll receive experience in the following areas: event management, customer service, account management, sales & marketing, and retail analytics.
Requirements include (but not limited to):
Assist in the setup, execution, and breakdown of SidelineSwap Trade-In events at partner retail locations
Serve as the face of SidelineSwap at Trade-In events and help to deliver the best customer experience possible
Evaluate sporting goods using our value guide and trade-in technology
Learn inventory management system to ensure proper distribution of items at events
Photograph items to capture key details for the purpose of e-commerce
Other duties as they arise
Qualifications
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred (but not required): retail experience, customer service experience, or event coordination
Must be comfortable working on feet and standing for long periods
Valid driver's license
Available to work on weekends
Interest or background in sports is preferred
