The Jackson Rockabillys are a summer a Prospect League summer collegiate baseball team located in Jackson, TN. We are entering our second season in the Prospect League and are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our intern team for the 2024 season. We are offering several internships in specific areas, but you will be exposed to many different aspects of the summer baseball and stadium operations. We are excited to welcome a new class of interns to work with us!
Interns would need to report in early to mid-May with a finish date following the Prospect League Season. Regular Season home games will be over by the end July, however potential playoffs and special events may be held in early to mid- August. The starting date is flexible depending on the applicant’s school schedule.
This is an unpaid internship with an end of season $500.00 stipend for completion of the seasonal internships. Applicants should pursue college credit from their college or university. We will offer internships for Stadium Operations, Food & Beverage, Hospitatility, Promotions & Community Relations, Journalism & Media Team, Ticket Management, Marketing. Stadium Operations Intern
- Assist facility/event management staff for preparation of games and events
- Assist in pre-event set up and post-event take-down
- Assist with checking the cleanliness of the stadium before each home game
- Support the operations staff with planning, set-up and staging of special events
- Support operations staff with security issues and securing the stadium
- Assist with management of game day staff and help with customer service issues
- Assist in set-up and preparation of concession stands, auxiliary bars, and group areas on a daily basis.
- Assist for set-up of post-game meals for both teams
- Restocking and organizing team store as needed
