Reporting organizationally to the Senior Manager, Payroll & Benefits, the Payroll & Benefits Specialist will be a key member of the FIFA26 Workforce & Recruitment team and will act as the first point of contact for payroll & benefit queries from employees and external partners.

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Payroll & Benefits Specialist for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:

Supporting employees and vendors in providing accurate payroll while maintaining benefits for the life-cycle of employees within their assigned divisions.

Onboarding employees:
  • Adding employees into HRIS system
  • Coordinating any relocations that need to be paid out 
  • Working closely with HR and Recruitment for accurate information 
  • Assisting with organizing and providing welcome sessions for all new employees as needed

Daily administration:
  •  First level support of HRIS
  • Organizing and maintaining payroll records
  • Updating and maintaining the HR database and internal HR systems
  • Creating regular reports on payroll and benefits
  • Address employee queries about payroll and benefit issues
  • Gather and confirm time cards, bonuses, etc.  

Payroll & Benefits:
  • Process Bi-Weekly payroll accurately
  • Work with external vendors for benefit accuracy
  • Work to make sure all payroll taxes are set up correctly
  • Assisting with enrolling staff on to the various insurances
  • Working closely with HR Coordinator for accurate record keeping

YOUR PROFILE
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting or relevant field preferred. 
  • At least three years of experience in payroll processing
  • Proven work experience as a payroll specialist, payroll admin or a relevant role
  • Experience with HRIS software
  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
  •  Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
  •  Knowledge of a personal data information system (SAP) preferred not required
