We are excited to hire a Social Media Intern for the 2024 football season! The Social Media Intern will be responsible for creating & posting social media content for Denver Broncos social media channels as directed by the digital media staff. This position will contribute to creation/management of social media content, including but not limited to posting content to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok & Snapchat, capturing photo & video content, editing videos & graphics and tracking performance of social media content.
Responsibilities Include:
- Creates and publishes social media content by:
- Assisting with the creation and publishing of social media posts
- Editing short-form video content for use across Broncos channels
- Capturing video and photo content for use across Broncos channels
- Helping cover team and organizational events
- Contributing to daily content planning and executing content assignments as directed
- Analysis of Social Media performance by:
- Tagging of content in social media analytics platform
- Reporting of consumption and engagement trends
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications, or similar discipline
- 2+ years of experience as a student working for a college newspaper, television or radio station, website, college sports information, office or in a communications department of a sports organization or in the sports industry

Skills Test:
- A skills test may be conducted with those candidates that are qualified.
Preferred Expectations:
- Willingness to work flexible hours (weekends, holidays, and travel)
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge & experience with basic video production & still photography
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to self-edit
- Knowledge of navigating popular social media platforms & trends
- Graphic design & motion graphic knowledge (Photoshop/After Effects)
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, this position pays $18.29/hour. This position will work 40+ hours a week with overtime starting July 2024 and ending approximately two weeks after the 2024 football season. This position will be required to work game days and/or events outside of a normal working hours as needed.
This position will be located at the Denver Broncos Training Center in Englewood, CO.
