Qualifications
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Background in machining, welding and metal forming, equipment assembly a plus
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems
Mechanical equipment manufacturing processes and workflow for standard builds
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
CDL Class A preferred, will train if not held
Forklift operation experience a plus
Welding experience a plus
Responsibilities
Support for the fabrication, refurbishing and maintaining all equipment included in the golf cart fleet, this includes all power cables, battery health, and charging capabilities.
Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors.
Perform basic repairs to manufacturer specifications.
Ensures machine maintenance schedules and equipment servicing results in minimum equipment downtime.
Move commercial vehicles between office and local vendors.
General facility maintenance as needed.
Special projects or other duties as assigned.
