Senior Systems Engineer
The Washington Commanders Football Team is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer. Qualified candidates will have experience and strong knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products including Microsoft Office 365, Dynamics, and Azure. Other skills the engineer will need to have expertise in are NAS management, Cisco VOIP phones system, project management, documentation, and platform integrations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage and maintain Office 365, Exchange, and Active Directory users and groups
· EntraID administration and troubleshooting
· Manage, support and maintain Network Attached Storage systems (NAS)
· Maintain, support and upgrade VMWare
· Experience with enterprise cloud backup solutions
· Support Cisco VOIP phone system
· Monitor logs and system events for servers and applications
· Oversee enterprise software licensing and certificate management
· Produce and present documentation, training, and standard operating procedures
· Assists the IT team in providing technical support to the enterprise
· Develop and execute system conversion, migration, implementation, and upgrade plans
· Lead systems projects with various Departments across the organization
· Manage relationships with systems contractors and vendors
· Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in technology field or equivalent experience
· Must be able to define and adhere to multiple simultaneous project budgets and timelines
· 5 years of relevant IT experience to include end user support and systems integration
· 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator within a Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 environment
· 2+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 Exchange Online administration and troubleshooting
· 2+ years of experience with VMware, vCenter and ESXi
· 1+ year experience supporting/maintaining Cisco VOIP phone system
· Experience supporting/maintaining EntraID and hybrid Active Directory
· Understanding of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and DBA experience preferred
· Be able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
· Possess high degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability for area of responsibility and related results
· Must be able to work at our Headquarters in College Park, MD, Commanders Field in Landover, MD or the OrthoVirginia Training Center at Commanders Park in Ashburn, VA
· Participate in day-of-game and after-hours support schedules as well as standard business hours (M-F 8:30-5:30)
