We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer with a deep passion for crafting engaging user interfaces and a keen eye for design. This role requires an innovative developer skilled in modern front-end technologies, including React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with experience in creating responsive and accessible web applications. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of our digital platforms, enhancing the sports experience for youth athletes and partners by delivering seamless, intuitive user interfaces.  
 
What you'll do:
  • Front-End Development Mastery: Lead the development of high-quality, engaging user interfaces using React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Ensure the creation of responsive and accessible web designs that offer an excellent user experience across devices.  
  • UI/UX Collaboration and Implementation: Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts and wireframes into functional, dynamic front-end applications. Contribute to the design process by providing technical insights and innovative solutions.  
  • Performance Optimization: Focus on optimizing front-end performance to ensure fast loading times and a smooth interaction for users. Implement best practices for minimizing page load time and achieving a seamless user experience.  
  • Agile Team Leadership: Participate in Agile development processes, collaborating with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers. Mentor junior front-end developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.  
  • Cross-Browser Compatibility Assurance: Ensure that all web applications perform consistently across different browsers and platforms, addressing any compatibility issues that arise during development.  
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest front-end development trends and technologies. Advocate for the adoption of new tools and practices that can enhance the development process and end product.  
  • Front-End Integration with Enterprise Systems: Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end interfaces with enterprise systems such as Salesforce and Adobe Commerce, ensuring a cohesive user experience that leverages the full capabilities of these platforms.  
  • API Consumption and Integration: Utilize APIs to enhance the functionality of web applications, including integrating with external services and enterprise systems, ensuring robust and scalable front-end solutions. 
 
What you'll bring: 
  • Advanced Technical Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field. 
  • Extensive Front-End Development Experience: At least 5 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. 
  • UI/UX Design Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to work closely with design teams, with a thorough understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design. 
  • Performance Optimization Skills: Experience with front-end optimization techniques, understanding of CDN usage, and proficiency in tools for performance testing and debugging. 
  • Agile Environment Familiarity: Proven track record of working in Agile development environments, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a team. 
  • Exceptional Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Enterprise Integration Skills: Experience in working with front-end technologies to integrate with enterprise systems like Salesforce and Adobe Commerce, demonstrating an ability to adapt to and leverage large-scale platform features within web applications. 
  • Advanced API Utilization: Proven expertise in consuming and integrating with APIs, showing a capacity for handling complex data exchange and enhancing web application functionality through external services. 

Additional Position Details: 
  • Travel Expectations: Less than 10% 
  • Department: Technology Product Development
  • Reports to: Project Manager - Technology
  • Supervisory Responsibilities:  None
  • Work Schedule: : Full-time 40 hours/week Monday-Friday 
  • Compensation Structure: : Salary (paid semi-monthly), OT-Exempt, eligible for annual discretionary bonus based on company and employee performance 
  • Location: Remote
