POSITION OVERVIEW: 
The Senior Director of Ticket Sales is responsible for the continued growth and development of the ticket sales department.  This role serves as a senior leader within the organization, overseeing all facets of the department, including business development, membership, group sales, and ticket operations.  The ideal candidate has a drive for aggressively growing revenue while focusing on managing, training, and leading the sales staff.   This position works strategically with the marketing and sponsorship department to develop unique and innovative opportunities to increase awareness and ticket revenue. 
 
This is a full-time, salary position working evenings and weekends during Louisville City FC & Racing Louisville FC home matches and stadium events. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 
1.       Direct oversight for all functions of the department - including business development, membership experience, groups, ticket operations, and business intelligence. 
2.       Serve as a central member of the executive leadership team, reporting on sales & service initiatives. 
3.       Oversee ticket sales through outbound, inbound, and renewal sales, including tracking and monitoring calls for productivity and effectiveness.
4.       Manages individuals within the ticket sales team through training, mentoring, and measurable performance objectives. 
a.       Establish and communicate clear sales revenue and training goals.
b.       Monitor and evaluate staff performance on an ongoing basis. 
c.       Follow-up with appropriate feedback and direction for development.
d.       Evaluate staffing and recruiting for new and replacement positions. 
5.       Produces accurate and timely reports, for club ownership, leagues, and vendors. 
6.       Develop and execute annual operating budget, including revenue goals, and commissions. 
7.       Makes recommendations on strategies for improved awareness and overall ticket sales. 
8.       Ensures a high level of service is delivered to established season ticket holders and prospective new customers by establishing professional standards within the department.
9.       Works strategically with multiple departments to develop promotions and platforms to generate new sales leads and ticket sales.
10.   Creates innovative sales & service plans for premium ticket packages to adapt for future business needs.
11.   Manages multiple sales and ticket systems, including Salesforce, SeatGeek, and MailChimp. 
12.   Other duties and projects as assigned.
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
This position will be responsible for the management of the entire ticket sales department including business development, membership experience, groups, ticket operations, and business intelligence. 

BACKGROUND, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
-        Minimum five (5) years related experience managing ticket sales, with budget and revenue responsibilities; sports industry experience preferred. 
-        Proficient knowledge of ticketing software and CRM systems is required. 
-        Proven ability to manage and lead a team. 
-        Experience working with statistical and analytical data preferred.  
-        Demonstrated history of leading successful ticket sales teams.
-        Ability to multitask and prioritize projects and requests. 
-        Excellent time-management and organizational skills. 
-        Strong computer skills, ideally with experience using Microsoft Excel and CRM software. 
 
Due to the nature of the industry, candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays during Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC home games and special events. 

Successful completion of a pre-employment comprehensive background check required.  
Must be legally authorized or able to obtain authorization to work in the US.  
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to walk significant distances, including up and down stairs, as required throughout the venue, as well as stand, sit, walk, bend, kneel, climb, grasp, stretch, stoop, and reach above head in conjunction with tasks.
Ability and willingness to work in all types of adverse weather conditions (i.e., heat, rain, cold, snow, wind). 

SCHEDULE:
The Senior Director of Ticket Sales is a full-time, salary position. This position will require work during evenings and weekends for Louisville City FC & Racing Louisville FC home matches and stadium events, as necessary.

Soccer Holdings, LLC., is the parent company of professional soccer clubs Louisville City FC (USL Championship) and Racing Louisville FC (NWSL). Both teams call Lynn Family Stadium in the Butchertown neighborhood home and operate out of the nearby Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training Center. Louisville City launched in 2015 and quickly established a winning tradition, claiming USL titles in 2017 and 2018. Racing Louisville FC joined the NWSL as an expansion member in 2021, bringing top-tier professional sports back to Kentucky for the first time in nearly 50 years.
