Pay Rate: $85,000 - $95,000/year*

The Senior Business Analyst will support the Business Strategy & Analytics function with data analysis, project management, and strategic planning. This individual will be the vital link between data and business objectives, using independent judgment. This person will impact the organization by leading projects that will improve operational efficiencies, control operating costs, and drive revenue.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identify analytical reporting requirements to address business needs by collaborating with business department leadership on business strategy data analyses; own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and improve our strategies
- Build, maintain, and audit the internal business intelligence suite across Tableau and other potential platforms; construct and lead all aspects of quality control standards and checks for data and reporting
- Support sales planning and forecasting across varying business functions; analyze information to communicate key insights, findings, and recommendations to business leaders
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to provide team executives with strategic recommendations and alternatives on critical business initiatives
- Develop models to optimize pricing and manage inventory across the primary and secondary ticket markets
- Evaluate and implement marketing automation processes through tools such as Customer Data Platform; analyze marketing effectiveness by channel / segment
- Explore available but under-utilized data sources to improve business operations
- Assess non-baseball event opportunities at Dodger Stadium; optimize inventory allocation through data-driven analyses
- Perform related duties as the need arises
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, statistics, economics, mathematics, operations research, or a closely related field; master’s degree in similar field preferred
- 2-5 years of work experience in business analytics, finance, statistics, business consulting, or related field
- Ability to create advanced statistical models with a broad range of methodologies and tools, such as exploratory data manipulation and analysis, regression analysis, forecasting models, simulation, probability models, and optimization; proficiency in financial and statistical modeling
- Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Office is required; proven understanding in SQL, Tableau, Salesforce, and statistical languages such as R and Python is preferred
- Ability to develop and own working relationships with stakeholders, using business knowledge to scope out the analyses required and lead the direction of said analyses to drive the business case for strategic initiatives
- Excellent reasoning, problem-solving, creative thinking, and communication skills to deliver concise and thorough business solutions
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills to successfully manage projects from inception to execution and deliver high-quality outputs
- Consistent track record of optimally crafting and implementing cross-functional projects with a basic understanding of organizational structure, goals, and mission
- Ability to be available, as needed, to work extended hours, nights, and weekends
