The High Point Rockers baseball team is actively seeking a Promotions and Fan Experience Intern to handle all aspects of stadium entertainment as well as assist with promoting the Rockers in the Greater High Point community. The High Point Downtown Stadium Foundation is a registered 501c3 non-profit and the parent entity to the High Point Rockers of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.   

 

·       Generate new ideas for in-stadium fan engagement.

·       Help the High Point Rockers promotions team execute the best in-game show/experience in the triad.

·       Assist the Promotions and Fan Experience Coordinator in preparing game day needs such as game information sheets, pre-game timing sheets, scripts, and other run-of-show documents.

·       Assist in execution of promotional theme nights.

·       Assist venue staff (video board operator, audio/visual, and mascot) in collaborating to produce all elements of the High Point Rockers in-game experience.

·       Learn different elements of game day production.

·       Assist in coordinating graphic and music elements for game days.

·       Assist Marketing Department in misc. activities and projects.

·       Enhance atmosphere by promoting an interactive fan experience

·       Encourage in-game fan involvement

·       Assist with mascot interaction during the game

·       Assist with on-field/ in-stadium promotional activities

·       Serve as team ambassadors at ballpark

·       Distribute team promotional materials throughout community

·       Other duties as assigned

·       Enthusiastic, creative, hard-working, organized and outgoing

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

·       Strong communication skills both verbal and written

·       Able to work in a team environment

·       Willing to learn

·       Must be able to work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends, holidays, ect.) 

·       Internship may be for college credit or general experience.

·       Hours may be adaptable to personal schedule within reason.
