JOB SUMMARY
The LPGA seeks a Producer as an integral part of the Creative Department, working with a team of producers and overseeing all areas as it relates to our post-production content and workflow. This person will be responsible for producing high quality video projects from conception to completion for LPGA original content across broadcast, partnerships, paid social, and digital platforms. This person should be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment and will have a strong interpersonal, collaborative skillset and be very comfortable working under deadlines.  
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the day-to-day management for video production needs related to LPGA brand projects, paid advertising, tournament promotion, partnerships, and other league initiatives. 
  • Manage a team of producers and their projects, ensuring meeting deadlines.
  • Supervise, evaluate, and mentor current department staff.
  • Maintain the video team’s production shooting schedule.
  • Oversee the media asset management and logging process.
  • Oversee the production and maintenance of our production studios and associated equipment.
  • Write, produce, and edit original video content.
  • Travel to select tournaments, providing video coverage as necessary. Assist the social team remotely for non-traveling tournaments with editing, on the fly content ideas, and video publishing. 
  • Collaborate with marketing, partnerships, executive leadership, and others for video content needs to service organizational objectives and initiatives. 
  • Maintain video production gear and advise on best practices of new equipment
  • Manage production studio space for internal interviews and content creation
  • Coordinate with communications staff for all team and player coverage
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  •  Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university.
  • Five-seven (5-7) years working in an agency, sports, entertainment, preferred. 
  • Minimum three (3) years in a supervisory role. 
  • Advanced knowledge of non-linear editing (Adobe Premiere preferred)
  • Advanced skill in working with cinema style cameras
  • Advanced experience in lighting and set design
  • Working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop or other relevant multimedia software applications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple and diverse tasks in a high-energy environment.
  • Advanced experience in creative script and VO copy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work within designated deadlines.  
  • Ability to work in independently and in groups is a must.
  • Display strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain solid working relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to use creativity from conceptualization to completion.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and complete multiple projects and activities with simultaneous deadlines.
  • Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of and passion for visual storytelling.  
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure deadline environment.  
  • Demonstrates creative judgment based on current trends, events, and platform style.   
  • Must be willing travel, work onsite or remote, and after hours, weekends and holidays in support of championships, initiatives, and breaking news.
