Position: Gameday Press Box Staff (Videoboard Controller, Music Operations, Switchboard Operator, and other related positions)

Overview: The Charleston Dirty Birds are seeking dedicated and talented individuals to join our Gameday Press Box Staff for the 2024 baseball season. As a member of our Press Box team, you will be at the heart of our game-day operations, responsible for enhancing the entertainment and communication aspects of our games. Join us to contribute to an unforgettable experience for fans and guests.

·         Operate and manage the videoboard system during games.

·         Display player statistics, replays, fan engagement content, and promotions.

·         Coordinate with the production team for in-game entertainment.

·         Manage the music playlist for the game, including walk-up songs.

·         Ensure music is played at appropriate times to enhance the game-day atmosphere.

·         Collaborate with the entertainment team to synchronize music with game events.

·         Manage incoming and outgoing communications in the press box.

·         Assist with coordinating radio broadcasts, interviews, and announcements.

·         Aid the media and team officials as needed.

·         Depending on game-day requirements, you may be assigned to other roles related to press box operations.

·         Duties will vary based on the specific position assigned.

·         Proficiency in operating relevant equipment (e.g., videoboard control software, music software, communication systems).

·         Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·         Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

·         Punctuality and reliability are essential.

·         Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
