POSITION SUMMARY:
Houston Dynamo FC is seeking experienced and passionate individuals for the Marketing Associate position which supports the growth of the Dynamo and Dash brands throughout the city of Houston. This role will help to bring the brands to life by assisting with key club events and brand growth initiatives. Marketing Associates will work closely with the Fan Engagement Coordinator and Fan Engagement Manger, in addition to other departments, in order execute various experiences and events.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enthusiastically interact and communicate with fans at Houston Dynamo FC and Dash games in addition to community and sponsor events.
- Assist in set-up and breakdown of interactive tent and event displays.
- Provide superb customer service on gamedays and at community events.
- Display excitement about the organization.
- Help with the execution, activation, and breakdown of game entertainment elements including fan fest spaces and concourse activities.
- Assist with on-field game day production.
- Assist our mascot, Diesel, on gamedays in addition to internal and external events.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma required.
- Experience working marketing and/or promotional events.
- Ability to work independently to complete duties and projects with minimal direct supervision.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and communicate effectively in high pressure situations.
- Ability to work well with different personalities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work long, irregular hours as well as evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Have a working knowledge of U.S. and international soccer – Preferred, not required.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) - Preferred, not required.
- Must have good driving record and valid Texas driver's license.
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
