JOB SUMMARY: The Cleburne Railroaders are seeking a fun and energetic individual to take us to the next level in our mascot program! Bring your passion for performance and eye for creativity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Represent the Cleburne Railroaders at all public appearances as Spike and/or Gandy

• Coordinate with the AGM and work within the Game Presentation department for: skits, in-game activations, sponsorship requirements, autograph sessions, and other in-game needs as determined. Off-date events can include: school visits, parades, community events, and tabling

• Serve as a Mascot for appearances (internal and external) as well as Game days

• Assisting in pre-game, in-game, and intermission features

• Communicating via signals as the mascot is non-verbal

• Assist with marketing initiatives including community events, school visits, video shoots and parades

• All other duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be available for most Railroaders Home Games. Including weekends & holidays.

• Should have excellent communication skills.

• Must be able to work under pressure.

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic are a must. Must have a “team-first” mentality with and eagerness to learn.

• Ability to attend smaller events alone as mascot after training.

• Must be able to work flexible hours
