Marketing Intern:
The Dallas Wings are seeking a Marketing Intern for the 2024 season. The marketing internship is designed to expose a highly motivated individual to all departments within the organization. The intern is responsible for supporting the Strategic Marketing Senior Manager in digital and traditional marketing strategies and tactics, general communications, assist with event set up and tear down, customer service, and general office and administrative duties.
Areas you will be learning about:
- Grassroots marketing
- Hands on experience with revenue generating departments to ensure business goals are met
- Learn the daily functions of the Dallas Wings marketing department
- Build strong project management skills
Learning Opportunities:
- Planning, attending, and supporting various events throughout the DFW market
- Assist and collaborate with all Dallas Wings departments with assigned tasks
- Inventory Management of official Dallas Wings giveaways, supplies, and signage
- Observe and participate in the development of paid social and digital strategy to execute and analyze campaigns
- Observe the logistics, coordination and strategy of events and activations
- Observe and assist with purchase orders, quotes, and vendor invoices
- Observe and collaborate with team members to support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in event marketing or promotions
- Strong organization and communication skills
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to work non-traditional and long hours including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to lift 25+ pounds
Students must be currently enrolled at an accredited university; in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
