SUMMARY: 
The North Carolina Football Club, owner and operator of two affiliated professional soccer teams: the North Carolina Courage (NWSL) and North Carolina FC (USL Championship), is seeking a bilingual Marketing Coordinator, specifically for the North Carolina FC Men's team, to support the club by providing a first-class fan experience at WakeMed Soccer Park and supporting marketing department initiatives to help grow the fan base. The Marketing Coordinator will also work closely and collaborate with other departments across the organization. 


KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Must be fluent in Spanish - spoken and written language 
  • Responsible for Match Day planning and implementation to include: 
  • Collaborate and contribute to preseason theme planning and execution.  
  • Full cycle project planning and management of game day fan experience. 
  • Main contact responsible for collaboration with Operations, Community, and Sponsorship to identify what will be at Fan Fest. 
  • Determine promotional giveaway items and see through the ordering and implementation process. Work in advance with Sponsorship team to identify giveaway item sponsors. 
  • Coordinate anthem singer in partnership with Ticketing. 
  • Coordinate coin toss/ball delivery. 
  • Work with Sponsorship to determine and implement activations and develop game scripts. 
  • Ensure Fan Fest is executed as planned. 
  • Ensure all activations/fan elements are executed. 
  • Support Community team to help with staffing at community events. 
  • Work with Creative Team on key events, such as Marketing Day. 
  • Serve as support and backup to update the clubs’ websites on marketing specific materials. 
  • Support and collaborate with the Marketing Manager on the club’s digital marketing functions. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication or other related field, and/or 6 months- 1 years of experience. 
  • Must be fluent in spoken and written Spanish. 
  • Must be willing to travel locally between the front office and stadium. 
  • Must be willing to work non-traditional hours that include weekends, nights and holidays. 
  • Outgoing, creative self-starter that has strong leadership skills, while thriving in a team environment. 
  • Event management or planning experience. 
  • Excellent relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Knowledge of the soccer supporter landscape and community. 
  • Good time-management skills. 
  • Must be able to work at the North Carolina Football Club headquarters in Raleigh, NC.
