Position Summary:
The Manager, Partnership Development brings unique value to Sacramento Republic FC's corporate partners by deeply understanding their business and objectives as well as implementation of the contractual platforms and associated assets. This role’s key focus is to deepen relationships through proactive communication and provide Return on Objectives (ROO) on the designed partnership platform(s) in order to ensure partner retention, renewal, and potential year over year up-sells.
Further, this position will identify, develop, and administer strategic partnerships with other organizations to realize key objectives, gain operational efficiencies, address unmet market needs, and create new customers and markets. Leads research activities to identify business opportunities, conduct due diligence, and develop plans and strategies for new alliances. Negotiates with new partners to formalize alliances and relationships.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of project management on assigned Republic FC corporate partner accounts. This includes contract implementation, signage, hospitality, in-stadium and in-market activations, community programs, developing business and relationship building.
- Create, present and deliver all business collateral to Republic FC corporate partners, including renewal presentations, implementation guides, monthly and end of the year recaps, and outbound partner communication.
- Provide added value to Republic FC corporate partnerships through recognizing new business opportunities as a result of a continual understanding of the partner’s everchanging goals and objectives.
- Manage and prioritize assets and inventory for multiple Republic FC corporate partners
- Collaborate with multiple departments within Republic FC, Marketing, Community Investment, Operations, and Ticket Sales to ensure corporate partner platforms, activations and assets are accurate and effective.
- Closely track and contribute real-time reporting detail on assigned partner accounts through the use of HubSpot or other assigned CRM platforms of the Club.
- Participate in Republic FC team member sales training and sponsorship activities.
- Responsible for generating incremental revenue through upselling and new sales.
Requirements (Job Knowledge, Skills, and abilities):
1. A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year)
2. Years of related work experience: 2-3 Years
3. Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop strong working relationships with partners, coworkers and other key stakeholders
5. Experience and knowledge of working on a sponsorship team or previously in a sports sales/service account management role is preferred
6. Inherent interest, passion, and experience for Community development
7. Demonstrated ability to communicate
8. Demonstrated ability to give presentations
9. Coachable and eager to learn every day.
10. Practical and moderate understanding of HubSpot or similar CRM software.
11. Moderate to Proficient understanding of Microsoft 365 suite applications.
12. Must have the ability and discipline to manage multiple projects simultaneously
13. Highly motivated and goal oriented to build a long-term career in the sports business.
14. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
15. Must be able to pull, push, and lift 20-25lbs.

Position Information:
Status: Full-time Hourly (non-exempt)
Compensation: $20.00-$27.00 hourly + Commission and Bonus Structure
