We are seeking a bright, talented, driven individual to join our sales staff. This position will work with the Director of Ticket Sales and other Account Executives to achieve the objectives of the Ticket Sales department. The Group Sales Account Executive should possess strong communication skills, be detail oriented and be extremely comfortable working with business and organizational leaders in the community. Most importantly, the Group Sales Account Executive should be an excellent customer service provider.
General Responsibilities:
- Generate new group, hospitality, and premium ticket sales for the Winston-Salem Dash
- Responsible for managing and servicing all new and renewal accounts and providing unsurpassed customer service
- Generate new business sales through leads lists, name collection activities, cold calls, speaking engagements, etc.
- Assist in selling season ticket packages and other programs as developed
- Maintain accurate sales files, customer files, call sheets, appointment sheets, prospect sheets, etc.
Game Responsibilities:
- Work at all Winston-Salem Dash home games: staffing designated ticket sales stations, fulfilling events, servicing clients, and prospecting new sales.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A strong desire to work in professional baseball is essential to this position.
- The ability to work in a team environment is a must as duties may stretch beyond work in the ticket sales department from time to time.
- Must be able to call on and meet with numerous types of businesses and organizations.
- This position requires you to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and long hours.
- Must be able to work with computers, particularly Windows and Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word and have knowledge of ticket and database programs.
- One year full-time sales experience is preferred.
