This position will serve as a member of the brand NXT Sports (NXT) within the company 3STEP Sports. This position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of NXT Girls Lacrosse Events. This includes sales, tournament scheduling, acting as site director, customer service, and ensuring that NXT events maintain a first-class image. The job is based out of the NXT offices in Conshohocken, PA, and services lacrosse events around the country. The ideal candidate is organized, attentive to detail, and can communicate with customers and coworkers in a highly professional manner.
Essential Functions
- Develop and foster relationships with girls lacrosse club directors and high school coaches.
- Responsible for executing sales plans and meeting annual revenue targets.
- Responsible for maintenance of the registration platform, generating invoices, registration of all teams, and communications regarding offline payments.
- Communicate extensively with customers and log sales communications activity promptly.
- Assist with event operations and customer service. Coordinate event operations in the following areas: tournament scheduling, referee scheduling, pre-event rules calls, pre-event printing, communication of field usage, and collaboration with the operations team, marketing, finance, and safety departments.
- Assist NXT in enforcing the Stay to Play hotel policy for all tournaments.
- Serve as an initial point of contact for incoming customer questions.
- Communicate directly with customers via phone and email.
Seasonal Functions
Serve as lead for High School Spring Training Program
- On-site tournament director
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office setting and at outdoor sporting events. The employee must stand, kneel, or bend for a long time and lift up to 50 pounds. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and sports equipment such as scoreboards, tents, goals, etc.
Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt position. The hours of work are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Travel to tournaments is required.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year accredited University or College.
- Lacrosse background
- Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent grammar, strong written and oral communicator
- Incredible attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple different projects at once.
- Clean driving record
Preferred Experience
1-3 years of relevant industry experience.
