About the Role:

Together we transform events into experiences; these experiences create excitement and turn into "I Remember Moments".

 

Your Focus as a member of the Part-Time Events Team: 

  • Assist with the setup, execution and tear down of various Rogers Place and ICE District events
  • Support the Event Operations department in implementing event requirements
  • Deliver memorable experiences for hockey fans at home games and events throughout the community
  • Execute in-game promotions and concourse activations during Oilers games
  • Organize and prepare all promotions and prizing according to game scripts
  • Set up and tear down all site equipment, props and promotional items
  • Organize kids and groups during events, including pre & post-game hockey experiences
  • Assist with various duties in the outdoor venues; ICE District Plaza & Fan Park, during NHL Playoffs
  • Assist and monitor capacity at entrance and exit points across venues

  • You have clear and concise verbal communication skills

 

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in an entertainment venue or arena will be considered an asset
  • Experience in Event Management would be considered an asset
  • The ability to skate is often required in this role, but is not mandatory for all team members
  • Must be willing to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process, including a Criminal Record Check
