The Event Staff team members are responsible for the proper setup & breakdown for events, including equipment, seating, tables, furniture, and other event-related items. This position will report to the Facilities Operations Manager.
This is a part-time, hourly position located in Louisville, KY. Must be able to meet the schedule requirements, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepare the stadium for events by setting up tents, crowd control barriers, metal detectors, tables, chairs, outdoor televisions, and other event-related items.
2. Clean areas and dispose of trash and debris from synthetic areas, turf, bench areas, and concrete warning track.
3. Install and remove goals before and after events.
4. Performs daily operations and general building maintenance during non-event days.
5. Identify any potential safety hazards and follow proper reporting policy & procedure.
6. Assist the grounds crew, as necessary, including the application and/or removal of growth blankets at the stadium or other facilities.
7. Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, landscaping equipment, and other equipment following company policies and procedures.
8. Other duties & special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma (or equivalent).
- Must be able to operate and perform basic repairs to field and grounds-related equipment; including but not limited to mowers, blowers, paint sprayers, and paint remover machines.
- Ability to meet the schedule requirements of the position.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment comprehensive background check.
- Must be legally authorized or able to obtain authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must possess a Valid Driver’s License.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times per day.
Must be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, kneel, climb, grasp, stretch, stoop, and reach above head in conjunction with tasks for up to 8 hours per day.
Must be able to work in moderate to very loud environments.
Ability and willingness to work in all types of adverse weather conditions (i.e. heat, rain, cold, snow, wind).
SCHEDULE:
This is a part-time, hourly position that will require working weekends, evenings, and holidays determined by the team schedule and other events.
