POSITION: Director of Operations

DESCRIPTION: The Wilmington Sharks (www.wilmingtonsharks.com), a charter member of the Coastal Plain League (www.coastalplain.com), is seeking an experienced individual to supervise stadium operations and assist with ticket sales.
The Sharks set their all-time franchise attendance record in 2023, drawing more than 1,500 fans per game to Buck Hardee Field while also advancing to the CPL Championship Series.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Oversee the food and beverage operation for all 35 home games including ordering product and hiring and supervising concession stand managers and seasonal personnel.
- Oversee the stadium box office operation including gate scanning.
- Responsible for pre-season stadium set up (signage, tents, corporate boxes) and maintenance of these elements in-season
- Assist with ticket sales efforts – season tickets, ticket packages, group tickets and picnic outings.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Stadium operations experience with a baseball franchise.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with point of sale and ticketing systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; adapts to change in the work environment, manage competing demands and is able to handle frequent changes.
- Ability to work independently and problem solve.
- Highly organized and detail oriented operational manager
- Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays.
