Playfly Sports is looking for a Director, Marketing Services to join our team in New York, NY.
The primary role of this position is to work as a Marketing Services lead on designated Playfly Premier Partnerships sales representation projects across our portfolio of sports & entertainment rightsholder clients. The individual will be directly responsible for developing sponsorship proposals and packages, sponsorship sales collateral, managing project administration, and ensuring client communication.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Lead select Premier sales properties, including client management and internal coordination
- Provide guidance to other Marketing Services team members on their respective client engagements, proposals, etc.
- Develop customized sponsorship packages based on sponsor objectives
- Provide sales team with relevant sales materials, including: introductory materials, custom presentations, term sheets, etc.
- Develop, update, and manage Premier’s marketing collateral and platforms, including: overview materials, proposal documents, company website and social media, etc.
- Coordinate with internal and/or third-party graphic design resources on the creation of sales materials
- Support sales team with relevant research regarding current and potential clients, various corporations, and general industry information, for example, naming rights and sponsorship details
- Manage cross-departmental communication with Premier colleagues across New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Denver offices, including cross-sales efforts, best practices sharing, etc.
- Review reports, proposals and other documents with extraordinary attention to detail, consistency and grammar
- Contribute to day-to-day office operations/management such as meeting preparation, opening and closing procedures, vendor management, and intern program management
- Other job-related duties as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of work experience in sports management, sponsorship sales, brand activation, brand marketing or an another related field required
- Brand direct marketing experience is a plus
- Proven ability to establish and maintain an honest and effective working relationship with the Premier team and our clients
- Ability to be a proactive project leader
- Successful experience as a project lead with client-facing responsibility
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
- Adobe Creative Suite and CRM or similar software experience is preferred
TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This role takes place in an office setting and is a sedentary role
- Willing and able to travel as needed
COMPENSATION
The base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
