We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chargeback and Disputes Manager to join our team at PrizePicks. The Chargeback and Disputes Manager will play a critical role in managing chargeback processes, overseeing disputes resolution, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position requires proficiency in Excel, along with 3-5 years of experience in chargeback and dispute manageme

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Understand and manage the entire chargeback lifecycle, from initiation to resolution.
  • Track and analyze chargeback data using Excel/Sheets to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to minimize chargeback rates and associated financial losses.
  • Disputes Resolution:
  • Lead the resolution of customer disputes related to transactions, ensuring timely and fair outcomes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to gather necessary documentation and information for dispute resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispute cases and resolutions.
  • Management of Overseas Team:
  • Manage and mentor an overseas team responsible for chargeback and dispute management.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's effectiveness and productivity.
  • Management of Chargeback Solution Systems and Relationships:
  • Oversee multiple chargeback solution systems and relationships with third-party providers.
  • Evaluate and optimize chargeback solution systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Chargeback Alerts Tracking and Representment Strategy:
  • Manage and track chargeback alerts, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
  • Develop and implement chargeback dispute alert strategies to challenge invalid chargebacks and recover revenue.

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in chargeback and dispute management.
  • Experience with Compelling Evidence 3.0 will be considered an asset
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of the chargeback lifecycle and associated processes.
  • Experience managing overseas teams is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to create, track, monitor and assess the success of business processes
