Key Responsibilities:
- **Financial Records Maintenance:** Keep accurate records of daily transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- **Reporting:** Prepare reporting for Events held by the organization and present them to management.
- **Budgeting:** Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditures to ensure they stay within budget limits.
- **Payroll Administration:** Manage payroll processing, including deductions, benefits, and tax computations.
- **Accounts Receivable and Payable:** Manage invoicing, track receivables, and handle payables diligently.
- **Bank Reconciliation:** Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial information.
- **Tax Compliance:** Assist in preparing tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- **Financial Analysis:** Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.
- **Vendor Management:** Maintain relationships with vendors and handle contract and price negotiations.
- Customer service - Have good phone and in person communication.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred but not required, or Experience in finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Payroll Software
Salary Range $45,000-$50,000
