This position works under the general direction of the Assistant Manager of Athletic Grounds. Supervises groundskeepers in the general maintenance of athletic turfs and grounds construction activities to provide for a visually inviting, safe and aesthetic environment for students, faculty, visitors, and staff, as well as for fans watching televised events. Ensures that goals and objectives are met with strict adherence to NCAA and conference rules and regulations as well as policies and procedures of the department, the University, and the Arizona Board of Regents.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in turf management or related field, plus 2 years of related experience; OR, any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieve. Employee may be required to possess a valid US Drivers license of the appropriate class and required endorsements throughout employment.
