Job Description:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant General Manager. This position will play a vital role in the overall success of our organization by assisting with various operational aspects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the General Manager and other team members to oversee and execute all aspects of game day operations, ensuring a seamless experience for players, staff, and fans.
- Provide support for team store operations, including inventory management, sales, and customer service, to enhance the fan experience and drive revenue.
- Coordinate the arrival of visiting teams and referees for all home games, managing logistics and accommodations to ensure their needs are met.
- Ensure that broadcast equipment and setups are properly configured and operational for home games, working closely with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues.
- Verify the accuracy of stat sheets and ensure compliance with requirements set by the United Soccer League (USL).
- Assist with travel coordination for team members, including booking accommodations, transportation, and other logistical arrangements for away games and team events.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sports management or operations role, with a strong understanding of game day operations and logistics.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate game schedules and travel requirements.
- Knowledge of soccer and familiarity with the United Soccer League (USL) is preferred but not required.
