As an Area Territory Sales Representative for Launch Hydrate, you will be responsible for managing sales activities within a designated geographic area. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining relationships with retail outlets, distributors, and key decision-makers to drive product sales and achieve revenue targets. You will play a crucial role in implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.\
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, including retailers, distributors, and wholesalers, to drive product sales and maximize revenue.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and acquiring new accounts within the territory.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Analyze sales data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Territory Management:
- Effectively manage the assigned territory by strategically planning and scheduling sales visits, ensuring adequate coverage and penetration.
- Conduct regular visits to retail partners, distributors, and other key accounts to build rapport, address issues, and provide product education and training.
- Monitor inventory levels and always ensure product availability to meet customer demand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to coordinate activities and support overall business objectives.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers within the territory, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at retail outlets and distribution channels to secure placement, promotions, and support for products.
- Provide product demonstrations, samples, and promotional materials as needed to support sales efforts and drive brand awareness.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Compile and analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting sales achievements, market insights, and areas of concern.
- Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field experience preferred.
- Youth Travel sports knowledge, participation, or experience preferred.
- Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably within the CPG industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
