POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Corporate Partnership Account Manager will be responsible for the professional management of many of the organization’s premier corporate partnerships. In addition to account and relationship management, along with asset fulfillment, this role will assist the Corporate Partnership Sales staff throughout the sales and activation process. This role must have a thorough understanding of the departments’ goals and objectives and be able to work closely with marketing and media operations in order to bring partnership programs to life.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Establish strong working relationships with current partners and have a clear understanding of their individual marketing and business goals and initiatives.
· Ensure all of the organization’s corporate partners receive a superior level of customer service.
· Collaborate with Corporate Partnership Sales team to drive retention
· Further current and new business sales efforts by actively collaborating with Corporate Partnership Sales team to identify revenue opportunities utilizing existing and newly-created partnership inventory (i.e., television, in-market promotions, social media, etc.)
· Work closely with all departments (i.e., marketing, media, football operations, digital, etc.) within the organization necessary to ensure fulfillment of clients’ contracts.
· Assist with sponsor, marketing and/or broadcast-related projects, as assigned.
· Conduct business during non-traditional hours, taking advantage of games and events to interact with clients and prospects.
· Communicate well across all areas of the organization.
· Other related duties as may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business, Marketing or Management required.
· Three (3) years of sponsorship or marketing experience – sports industry preferred.
· Self-motivated with a proven ability to achieve aggressive team sales goals.
· Excellent attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
· Strong, proven understanding of the practices and principles related to the sale and execution of corporate partnerships.
· Ability to establish and maintain strong positive working relationships with corporate clients and co-workers.
· Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays as dictated by events or requirements
· Creative and strategic thinker.
· Experience with consumer and market research tools such as YouGov, Scarborough or Relo Metrics preferred
· Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
· Strong knowledge of MS 365, including Teams, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
· Experience with CRM (Salesforce) and Inventory (Activate) a plus, but not required.
