Austin FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the League’s 27th club in January 2019. Austin FC began competing in MLS in April 2021 and played its first match at home on June 19, 2021, in the new, 100% privately financed, state-of-the-art Q2 Stadium in Austin.
4ATX Foundation is the nonprofit arm of Austin FC. From getting people playing by providing soccer scholarships and donating equipment, to restoring and building new soccer pitches, to building the next generation of leaders through Verde Leaders, 4ATX Foundation increases opportunities for Central Texans to thrive.
4ATX Foundation is seeking an intern to join its development and fundraising team. In this internship, you will have the chance to make a significant impact by supporting 4ATX Foundation’s efforts through fundraisers, relationship building, and working with our customer resource management system . You will have the opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders across various departments and learn valuable insights to enhance our fundraising strategies. This role not only allows you to contribute to the foundation’s mission but also provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth and advancement in the nonprofit sector.

You Will:
· Work with 4ATX Foundation on day-to-day operations; and
· Assist with the execution of tasks related to 4ATX Foundation’s Stadium Fundraisers; and
· Learn to manage the coordination of matchday auction items and oversee bidding on auction platforms; and
· Aid of initiatives within our Name In Lights Program; and
· Support communications for our Tours4ATX program, focusing on the coordination of tours around Q2 Stadium; and
· Learn about and become lead in the coordination and operation of the 50/50 Raffle on matchdays; and
· Collaborate with the development team to further 4ATX Foundation’s mission by supporting donors, fundraisers, and corporate partners.
You Have:
· Previous experience in cultivating relationships.
· Ability to work in an outdoor setting with some physically demanding requirements such as sitting, standing and walking as needed.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
· Strong email communication skills in a professional setting.
· Proficiency in English and/or Spanish; bilingual proficiency is a plus, and knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
