The Wausau Woodchucks are seeking qualified individuals to produce the stadium’s video board show for Woodchucks games along with creating video content and graphics. This position offers the opportunity for current college level students looking to gain real world experience in sports. The Video Board Production Intern must be available for all home games, along with any additional events assigned throughout the season.
Responsibilities Include:
- Design images and videos with sponsor logos to be shown on the video board throughout the game
- Design player cards for all home and visiting players for digital display
- Coordinate with PA Announcer and the on-field promo team on timing and execution of in-game requirements and game day script for videoboard
- Assist with various graphic design projects as needed
- Assist the Video Production and Webcast Intern in producing video content for use on the video board and other platforms
- Assist with creating motion graphics/animations
- Maintain clean and organized press box
- Assist with stadium set up and cleanup
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Have an enthusiastic, positive attitude and provide a strong effort to succeed
- Extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suites
- Ability to work under a deadline
- Must be a creative thinker and do well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Must have knowledge of the flow of a baseball game
- Ability to work with a team or partner
- Previous knowledge with Daktronics preferred

The Wausau Woodchucks are a founding member of the Northwoods League and are located in Wausau, WI. Annually drawing in more than 40,000 fans from all over the state of Wisconsin, the Woodchucks have a reputation of being a fun, family-friendly option for family and corporate entertainment in Central Wisconsin. The Woodchucks annually hire 15-20 interns. Former interns have gone on to work for the Minnesota Twins, Tennessee Titans, and many other minor league and collegiate league teams across the nation.
