Company Description
The internship is designed to provide experience working specifically within the Regional Development School. The RDS Operations Intern will learn the day-to-day summer season operations of the RDS. The experience comprises a balance of logistics and operational support for residential and day camps, with some focus on summer showcase tournament preparations.
Job Description
- Learn the NY Red Bulls elite player development process
- Learn the youth development strategy in a Major League Soccer Pathway
- Showcase tournament team operations and preparation
- Greeting and directing players and parents on arrival
- Participate in warm-ups and check in Field breakdown
- Learn residential and day camp operations and planning
- Kit and equipment inventory, and tracking
- Participate in branding items and equipment for summer camps and special events
- Learn how to operate camera equipment operation to record summer showcase and/or Pre-Academy games/training where possible
- Learn sport video analysis tools and methods

Qualifications
- Candidate with an interest in gaining experience in sports management operations, and/or elite level youth soccer
- A passionate soccer fan with knowledge and interest in Major League Soccer
- An organized self-starter with the ability to efficiently multi-task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
