You will report to the Community Relations Manager and learn the management of community programs. You will play a role in leading community engagement and volunteerism with the front office, academy team, and corporate partners. You will learn to cultivate relationships with nonprofit organizations, community groups and neighboring businesses.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
- Assist in the management of team’s donation and fundraising platforms
- Send out donations to neighboring foundations and organizations
- Handle requests from Front Office
- Learn MLS Works programs and assist in the fulfillment of requirements
- Participate in the execution of community theme nights
- Participate in community events and volunteer activities
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Detail oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic
Demonstrate a passion for working as part of a team and specifically with the New York Red Bulls
Passion for building relationships in the community
Interest in pursuing some combination of Community Relations and Field Marketing as a future career
