The North Carolina Football Club, owner and operator of two affiliated professional soccer teams: the North Carolina Courage (NWSL) and North Carolina FC (USL Championship), is seeking Game Day Parking Staff for the 2024 season. This position will serve to create a successful fan experience both the NC Courage and NCFC teams, by executing efficient parking operations, and being a customer service agent for the arrival and departure of fans to the park.
This position is a seasonal position, with hourly pay paid out twice a month. All shifts will be onsite, at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC. Our season starts at the beginning of March 2024, and will continue through October/November of 2024. Please use the boxes at the bottom to note when you'll be interested in working, if not the entire season.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Parking Staff are responsible for the set-up and tear down of the parking areas for events held at WakeMed Soccer Park; including but not limited to cones, signage, and barriers.
- Staff will work in one of two areas to ensure proper service, as a Parking Attendant or as a Parking Cashier.
- Cashiers: Once parking opens, staff will scan parking passes and collect payment for all cars entering the park.
- Attendants: Once parking opens, staff will direct cars to their correct lots and spaces, ensuring they that cars are parked efficiently to maximize lot usage.
- Staff will know weather and emergency protocols to provide direction in a calm manner to fans in the event of an emergency (ex: lightning delays).
- All employees must practice safe work habits to ensure event production on game days is as efficient and safe as possible.
- Parking Staff will provide feedback in an efficient way to leadership, including but not limited to entry and exit efficiency, stadium structure, etc. to ensure game day parking improvements throughout the season.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule.
- Must be able to work at least 75% of home games for both the NCFC and NC Courage teams throughout the 2024 season.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, fans, and other office staff.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service and interactions with fans to ensure they are maximizing their game day experience enjoyment.
