The North Carolina Football Club, owner and operator of two affiliated professional soccer teams: the North Carolina Courage (NWSL) and North Carolina FC (USL Championship), is seeking seasonal Game Day Marketing Staff. This position will serve to create a successful fan experience both the NC Courage and NCFC teams, by executing on game day marketing efforts, and being a customer service agent for the in-game fan experience, with the overall goal of growing and strengthening the Club's connection with our fan base. This position is a seasonal position, with hourly pay paid out twice a month. All shifts will be onsite, at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC or in the Fenton premier shopping/dining district next to the stadium. Our season started at the beginning of March 2024, and will continue through October/November of 2024. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Game Day Marketing Staff are split into a variety of duties including Fan Fest Attendants and Marketing Operations, which includes all set-up and tear down of Marketing activations in Fan Fest, the Kid Zone, and as support of on-field activations.
- The Game Day Marketing Crew is responsible for the set-up and tear down of Fan Fest activations and other game day events held at WakeMed Soccer Park and Fenton; including giveaway tables, photo stations, and the Kid Zone.
- Game Day Marketing Staff will use a customer-service mindset, to engage fans, pass out giveaway items, and share the excitement of the two professional sports teams on game day.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule.
- Must be able to work at least 75% of home games for both the NCFC and NC Courage teams throughout the remainder of the 2024 season.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, fans, and other office staff.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service and interactions with fans to ensure they are maximizing their game day experience enjoyment.
